The work placement is an optional activity scheduled for the second year of the degree programme and is worth 3 CFU. It lasts 90 hours, which may be extended, in agreement with the university tutor, to meet requirements related to the work placement. Any extension to the compulsory work placement, unless it is a project-based work placement, is recognised, at the rate of 1 additional credit for every 30 hours completed beyond the minimum 90 hours required, up to a maximum of 3 credits.
Compulsory second-year work placements may be undertaken after 15 November.
There are no semester restrictions on undertaking the placement, and it may be combined with the final assessment (project-based placement): in this case, to earn the 3 CFU, students must complete 180 hours over a period of 3 months.
Please note that it is not possible to undertake a placement at companies or professional practices managed or controlled by the student’s relatives or in laws.
