QUALITY ASSURANCE OF THE DOCTORAL PROGRAM
Starting from 2023, the Ministry of University and Research, through the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System (ANVUR) and the definition of quality standards known as AVA3 (Self-evaluation - Periodic Evaluation – Accreditation – version 3), has extended the application of the quality model—already in use since 2013 for Bachelor's and Master's degree programs—to Doctoral Programs as well.
Following the implementation of this model, faculty members, doctoral students, and technical-administrative staff at the University of Brescia are actively involved and committed to the various activities outlined in the quality assurance cycle, as represented in the Brochure available on the Quality Assurance page.
QUALITY INDICATORS OF THE DOCTORAL PROGRAM
The indicators used to assess the quality of the doctoral program are determined based on three types of data collection:
- Doctoral Students' Opinion Survey (hereafter ROD).
The results of the ROD are available at the following link:

- The employment survey of PhD graduates, conducted by ALMALAUREA, available at the following link:

- The satisfaction survey of PhD graduates, conducted by ALMALAUREA, whose results are available at the following link:

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF THE DOCTORAL PROGRAM
The principle of continuous improvement is the foundation of every quality assurance system. In this perspective, doctoral students and PhD graduates have the opportunity to submit suggestions to improve the quality of the doctoral program using the following link:

STAKEHOLDERS INVOLVED IN QUALITY ASSURANCE ACTIONS FOR THE DOCTORATE
For doctoral programs, several bodies collaborate in various roles to improve the quality of the study program.
- The Departmental Quality Committee (PQD), composed of faculty members and supported by technical-administrative staff, oversees and assists in the proper functioning of the Evaluation and Quality Assurance System regulated by ANVUR within the department and collaborates with the University Quality Assurance Committee.
Each Doctoral Program has a Quality Representative, whose activities are coordinated by the PQD for Teaching.

- The University Quality Assurance Committee (PQA), an Auxiliary Body of the University, operates in accordance with the ANVUR AVA system and consists of faculty members, technical-administrative staff, and a student representative. It supervises and supports the implementation of Quality Assurance Procedures at the university level for study programs, doctoral programs, and departments, following the guidelines set by the Governing Bodies.
