Upon completion of the PhD Programme, PhD students in Biomedical Sciences and Translational Medicine will have acquired extensive skills in the most advanced experimental research methodologies. They will have knowledge of the most current and pressing issues in the biomedical field, and the ability to interact constructively with scientists and clinicians from various disciplines.

- Research roles at public and private institutions in Italy (such as the National Research Council, Scientific Institutes for Hospitalization and Treatment - IRCCS) or abroad;
- Research roles at public and private healthcare facilities in Italy or abroad;
- Data manager or clinical monitor of clinical trials at public and private healthcare facilities in Italy or abroad;
- Roles in Research and Development and/or coordination of preclinical or clinical pharmacology studies at pharmaceutical and biotech companies in Italy or abroad;
- Researcher positions at university spin-offs and/or small-to-medium-sized enterprises in biotechnology and innovative diagnostics.
Finally, recognizing its advanced level, the PhD degree is significantly valued in public competitions for secondary school teaching positions.
