The PhD Programme in Precision Medicine aims to train a new generation of highly qualified professionals capable of operating at the intersection of biomedical research, bioinformatics, technological innovation, and nanotechnology. The program provides the advanced skills needed to design, implement, and manage personalized diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, meeting the needs of a rapidly evolving healthcare system toward predictive and patient-centered models.
PhD graduates in Precision Medicine will be able to pursue positions of high responsibility in various professional fields:
- Academic Research and Research Institutions: Roles as researcher, principal investigator, or research group coordinator at universities, IRCCS (research institutes), public research institutions (such as the National Research Council), and public or private healthcare facilities, both in Italy and abroad.
- Pharmaceutical and Biotech Industries: Roles as R&D Manager, clinical trial manager in the field of precision pharmacology and gene/cell therapy, or product development expert in biotechnology companies.
- Advanced Diagnostics and MedTech: Experts in the design and validation of molecular diagnostic technologies, as well as specialized personnel in biological data analysis and technological innovation management.
