Orthoptic and ophtalmologic assistance
It is a training course designed to prepare health professionals in the rehabilitation area who treat motor and sensory disorders of vision, carry out non-invasive instrumental ophthalmic semeiology techniques, participate in clinical and experimental scientific research activities and are involved in the rehabilitation of visually impaired patients.

Study Plan
The Course of Studies in Orthoptic and ophtalmologic assistance aims to provide graduates with skills in the areas of visual sciences, anatomy and physiology of the eye, principles of optics, ocular pathologies, instrumental methodologies for investigating ocular pathophysiology, techniques for assessing binocular visual function, ophthalmological medical and surgical therapies and related ethical and legal aspects. Students participate in theoretical lectures, practical workshops, clinical placements and self-study activities.
Duration: 3 years, 180 CFU
