The Degree Programme in Health Professional Education prepares students for a career as Health Professional Educators by providing a strong foundation in the biomedical, psychological, and social sciences underlying rehabilitative and therapeutic interventions across the lifespan, from childhood to older adulthood. Students also develop proficiency in at least one European Union language in addition to Italian, enabling effective professional communication and information exchange.

The programme combines theoretical learning with practical training to develop professional, interpersonal, and communication skills, ensuring that graduates are fully prepared for professional practice upon completion of their studies.

A key component of the curriculum is clinical placement training, worth at least 60 ECTS credits, carried out under the supervision of qualified professional tutors. During the second and third years, students gain hands-on experience in designing and implementing educational and rehabilitation programmes within multidisciplinary teams, promoting individuals' participation, autonomy, and psychosocial inclusion.
