The Degree Programme in Psychiatric Rehabilitation Techniques prepares healthcare professionals to support individuals experiencing mental health conditions through rehabilitation, recovery, and social inclusion interventions.
Students acquire clinical, psychological, and social knowledge that enables them to understand the factors influencing mental health and well-being across different stages of life. The programme provides a solid foundation in psychiatric rehabilitation theories and methods, as well as in professional ethics and relevant legal principles.
Graduates develop the skills needed to assess patients’ strengths and support needs, design and evaluate individual and group rehabilitation programmes, and work effectively with families, communities, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Particular emphasis is placed on therapeutic communication, person-centred care, and the promotion of autonomy, recovery, and quality of life.
