The Internship represents the heart of preparation for those who choose a Bachelor of Health Professions degree program. It is the key training modality for developing skills and work identities and represents a form of pre-socialization to the world of work.
It involves experienced professionals in specific health care settings in order to learn the skills involved in the role. Learning takes place through practical experimentation, the integration of theoretical-disciplinary knowledge with the operational and organizational practice of the work areas of interest.
The internship takes place in outpatient, semi-residential and residential facilities where clinical and psychiatric rehabilitation interventions are carried out.
Numerous healthcare institutions have an inter-provincial agreement with the course (e.g. Hospitals, Scientific Hospitalization and Care Institutes, Foundations, Cooperatives accredited with the National Health System).
