Internships

The Pharmacy degree program includes a mandatory Practical Evaluation Internship (TPV) of 30 ECTS credits, totaling 900 hours, which takes place starting from the second semester of the fourth year, once the minimum requirements have been met.

The Practical Evaluation Internship (TPV) is a professional training program designed to equip students with the skills needed to work as pharmacists within the National Health Service. The internship concludes with a Practical Evaluation Test, which officially qualifies students to practice as pharmacists. (Ministerial Decree No. 651, 5 July 2022)

The TPV lasts at least six months, which do not need to be continuous, and is carried out in a community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or local pharmaceutical services under the supervision of the relevant pharmaceutical authority.

Students will be able to access internships starting from the fourth year only if the following conditions are met:

- have acquired at least 160 credits and be enrolled at least in the fourth year of the degree course;
- have passed two characterizing exams, one of which in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (SSD CHIM/08) and one in
Pharmacology (SSD BIO/14);
- have attended at least one of the courses of the SSD CHIM/09 (Pharmaceutical Technology).

In this section, you can find:

  • Agreement between UniBs and the Order of Pharmacists;
  • TPV Regulations – CRUI;
  • TPV Implementation Guidelines and Presentation Slides

  • Signing off the Internship Logbook once the internship is completed;
  • Recording and validating the internship following the Practical Assessment.

The University Supervisors are:

  • Prof. Delia Mandracchia
  • Dr. Giovanni Ribaudo

At the end of the paragraph, you can find a link to access the Almalaurea portal and a sample of the Training Project that must be completed in Almalaurea by the hosting pharmacy in order to activate the internship.

For Students: The first access to Almalaurea must be made through ESSE3 (select “Almalaurea” from the menu). You will then need to follow the system’s instructions to authorize the visibility of your personal data (CV). After this initial access and authorization via ESSE3, you can log in to Almalaurea directly through the link: https://almalaurea.it/.

For Pharmacies: Passwords must be activated by accessing the link provided below.

Students at the University of Brescia, under the agreement between the University and the Federation of Pharmacists’ Orders of Lombardy, will use an online electronic logbook to record their professional internship. The logbook is accessible at www.librettotirocinio.it.

Access credentials will be provided only after the student has completed the Training Project in collaboration with the pharmacy where the internship will take place.

The Practical Evaluation Internship will be officially recorded only after passing the Practical Evaluation Test, which takes place shortly before the graduation session.
