Graduates in Dietetics are classified, pursuant to Article 3, Paragraph 1 of Law No. 251 of 10 August 2000, as healthcare professionals within the technical-assistance area.
The primary objective of the Degree Programme is to prepare professionals capable of carrying out, with autonomy and professional responsibility, specific activities in the fields of nutrition and dietetics, both in preventive and clinical settings. Particular emphasis is placed on activities aimed at the appropriate application of food and nutrition principles in response to the needs of individuals and communities.
