The course offers complete training in health promotion and disease prevention and confers a professional degree.
It is an ideal course for those interested in the areas of public health, epidemiology, health psychology and research.
As of 2022, the degree programme is accredited by the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE).

The Bachelor's Degree Programme in Health Assistance aims to educate and train professionals with the scientific knowledge and technical skills required to responsibly perform the functions of the profession, in accordance with the principles and methods of prevention, health promotion, and health education, as established by Ministerial Decree No. 69 of 17 January 1997.
The programme is designed to provide students with an integrated health and social care perspective, which forms the essential foundation for learning the knowledge and methodologies underpinning preventive, educational, rehabilitation, and health support interventions for both individuals and communities.
