Internships

The internship is the heart of professional preparation and is the key training mode for developing skills, identity and professional belonging. In addition, it is a form of first contact with the world of work, in which you can experiment in a protected environment.

Coaching with an experienced professional and in specific social and health care settings is always provided. Internship learning takes place through practical experimentation, integration of theoretical-disciplinary knowledge with professional and organizational operational practice, and contact with dynamic and interesting work environments.

The Bachelor of Health Assistance provides different internship experiences, depending on the theoretical knowledge learned during the course.

For each year of the course, the study plan provides a different amount of hours, specifically:

  •   450 hours the first year, corresponding to no. 18 CFUs
  •   625 hours the second year, corresponding to no. 25 CFUs
  •   425 hours the third year, corresponding to no. 17 CFUs

Attendance at the internship is approximately 8 hours daily, Monday through Friday.

There is an internship examination for each year, which can be taken from the September session.
