The Master’s Degree Programme in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences (Nursing Track) prepares advanced nursing professionals for leadership roles in healthcare, education, and research.

The programme is designed for registered nurses and paediatric nurses who wish to develop advanced competencies in healthcare service management, professional education, and evidence-based research. Graduates are prepared to lead and evaluate care services, promote innovation and quality improvement, support professional development, and contribute to the advancement of nursing knowledge and practice.

The curriculum combines advanced nursing sciences with healthcare management, epidemiology, research methods, health education, and leadership. Students acquire the skills needed to analyse health needs, design and manage care pathways, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, evaluate service quality and patient safety, and support innovation in healthcare organisations.

Particular emphasis is placed on evidence-based practice, organisational development, teaching and supervision, clinical governance, and the integration of hospital, community, and territorial healthcare services. Students also strengthen their competencies in research design, data analysis, and the dissemination of scientific knowledge.

The two-year programme includes classroom teaching, seminars, project work, and supervised placements in healthcare organisations, educational settings, and research centres, providing opportunities to apply managerial, educational, and research skills in real-world contexts.

Graduates are qualified to undertake leadership, educational, consultancy, and research roles within healthcare and academic institutions, contributing to the continuous improvement of nursing practice and healthcare services.
